Thailand Aviation features Captain Biff's flight around the world
Known as the American pilot traveling around the world in search of the perfect blueberry muffin, Captain Biff Windsock is somewhat of a celebrity everywhere he goes.
While in Kuala Lumpur, Captain Biff was interviewed by Star Magazine reporter Sandra Low.
The article was then picked up by Thai and Regional Aviation News, Thailand Aviation, on Sunday, May 23, 2010.
Note from Captain Biff: While I appreciate being featured in this article about my flight around the world, I was misquoted in the article several times.
Now . . . the REAL STORY...and what it should say . . .
During my visit to Viet Nam in the 60's, I flew the F-100 Super Sabre. Earlier in my career, prior to being assigned to Viet Nam, I did, indeed, fly the F-86 Sabre with the New Jersey Air National Guard at Atlantic City, NJ.
To this day, the F-86 was the most delightful JET aircraft I've ever flown. Light, nimble, maneuverable, good power, great visibility....a pure joy to fly.
